You can browse without an account. Checking off a place or a park find needs an account, so the list is yours on any phone. If you sign in, we store the email and name you give us, a password hash, and the finds you check off.

We record visits so we can see what is used. That log uses a rotating daily hash, not a name, and you can ask us to ignore an address from HQ. Transactional mail (confirm, reset) is sent only when you ask for it. Newsletters go only to people who opted in, and every one of those has an unsubscribe link.

On a venue map, your location stays on your phone to show where you are and the way there. It is only sent to us when you tick something off or tell us where something is, together with how precise it was. We use it to put things in the right place on the map: when several visitors find something at the same spot, the pin moves there. Other visitors never see where you were. These positions are kept for at most 400 days and are deleted with your account.
